April 19, 2007 at 3:34 pm
We know Rev Sharpton will support his fellow New Yorker, at least we hope so.
April 19, 2007 at 3:36 pm
Why everyone making afuss about Al. What about Twana Brawley?
April 19, 2007 at 3:37 pm
dumb ass jack. what about T Brawley? That was years ago.
April 19, 2007 at 3:40 pm
You dems always fondling over Al and Jesse, but I have to admit I was happy to see them out front in the Imus situation.
April 19, 2007 at 11:59 pm
Where have all you guys been? I hope Al supports Obama.
I think the Thinker will make a decision when Al makes his.
April 20, 2007 at 12:00 am
The Reverand is nothing but a race baiter. I would not want his support.
April 20, 2007 at 12:02 am
miswestern..what u been smoking? that is a lame statement. The last idiot who didn’t want anyone support was simpelton Al Gore refusing President Clinto’s support and look at him now, a fat washed up wood chucker.

The next election is about finding a person who can get womwn equality, freedom and dignity—and it’s Hillary for me, but I do pledge to support the democrat nominee.
April 20, 2007 at 3:47 pm
I also will support who ever wins.
April 21, 2007 at 6:03 pm
Christ, what do you make of John Edwards hiring Joe Tripp as a political consultant?
April 21, 2007 at 6:04 pm
He should have hired theGreatThinker.
April 21, 2007 at 6:14 pm
For Christ sakes, Gimme a break!!! Is this the same Joe Trippi, the guy that help send Howard Dean crashing down in Iowa like a drunken sailor on bourbon street? What in the hell is John Edwards and his team thinking? He could not even control his workers.
I don’t know if I should be happy or sad about this news, because with Joe onboard, Edwards will be out of the race after the South Carolina primary.
April 22, 2007 at 8:52 pm
What’s with brother Obama not remembering the name of Rev Sharpton’s orginization?
April 22, 2007 at 8:55 pm
When he called the orginization one name, the audience quickly corrected him. This guy had better get his act together, because the Rev had a pained expression on his face when he said it.
April 22, 2007 at 9:02 pm
get it together brother.
April 22, 2007 at 9:04 pm
I think it will be a cold day in hell before the Thinker supports Obama. I thnk he will support Rudy or whoever the Dem nomineee is. I think he will play coy just like Al.
April 22, 2007 at 9:07 pm
Nasty, I applaud you for that moment of realism regarding Joe Trippi. maybe some of these amateurs should learn to be more like you. Trippi is way to liberal on all issues. He wants them to legalize reefer.
April 22, 2007 at 9:09 pm
Anyone watching to see who the jews are supporting. They have apowerful lobby that is tied into the press. I am so glad they can’t control the Net like they do other media outlets.
April 22, 2007 at 9:10 pm
GOD forbid that happening BobbyL.
April 22, 2007 at 9:15 pm
I’m told Jewish power does not come in numbers, they are such a small number in the population, but it comes in the financial influence they wield over the country by the way of the media.
The AIPAC is one of the largest, most powerful lobbies in the country, and it’s not even really an American lobby, but weilds a lot of power.
April 22, 2007 at 9:18 pm
What is the AIPAC?
April 22, 2007 at 9:23 pm
It is the American Israel Public Affairs Committe, a Pro Israel Lobby in Washington, DC working to strengthen relations between the United States and Israel through political and student activism in campaigns .
April 22, 2007 at 9:25 pm
I knew it. This damn Blonde always coming up with something with the jews. It is a special interest group that lobbies the United States Congress and excecutive branch in favor of Isarel and bribes crooked politicans every chance it gets.
April 22, 2007 at 9:26 pm
Let’s stay away from the racial stuff. It makes my head hurt.
April 22, 2007 at 9:26 pm
that’s interesting.
April 23, 2007 at 12:16 pm
maybe Al will now make his decision known.
April 23, 2007 at 11:21 pm
it saddens me people like al sharpton and jesse jackson still is being courted by the mass media… they are cheaters, liers and the past… we as blacks need to showcase NEW LEADERS period…
April 24, 2007 at 12:10 am
You can look at that from two different angles. While I agree that Jesse and Al have their short-coming, who do you have to replace them with? Colin Powell, Condi Rice, Clarence Thomas or the new breed, Harold Ford, Gregory Meeks, Russell Simmons, Snoop Dogg. Black folks need to stop worrying about someone leading them and lead themselves. I don’t blame the politicians for courting them, because they are news makers and contrary to what white folks want you to believe, a lot of Black folks follow them. Perhaps it would be appropriate for our leaders to be the crooked mega star preachers raking in millions while their congregation remains poor. Most of Black folk’s problems would go away if these women would stop having all these babies without being married, and these young hoods would finally understand that selling dope leads to prison or death. If you know a bunch of women who are having these children, that grow up and become dope dealers, try to talk some sense into them and we can begin to stop all this foolishness.
April 24, 2007 at 12:15 am
Nasty…These women are not having these babies by themselves. What about the men’s part in this?
April 24, 2007 at 12:17 am
I know he didn’t go there.
April 24, 2007 at 12:19 am
utoh..utoh..
April 24, 2007 at 12:22 am
And what is wrong with Condi Rice and Colin Powell, and bru Thomas?
I am sure they could be at least as good as the current crop of bozos leading you democrats.
April 24, 2007 at 12:30 am
Duyba is their problem.
Think about it. In the space of just six short years, this president has united a billion Muslims, China, Russia, North Korea France, all of the middle-east, and now Latin America, against the United States, plus 90% of Black, 80% of Hispanics and over 50% of whites against him. Cause his party to lose control of the congress and snoop on law abiding Americans.
Do you need more? Dogs don’t even like him…
April 24, 2007 at 12:34 am
Badboy!!!!You said a mouth full. Lord, have mercy on you folks, it’s hot up in heah.
April 24, 2007 at 12:40 am
Mr. GOP, again, I would like to reiterate, you are a funny, intelligent, sometimes brilliant, sometimes stupid person and this is about the stupidest comment you ever made. Even coming from you, I find your post disappointing.

Where have civility gone? yall off the hook.
April 24, 2007 at 12:45 am
bomb…ouch.
April 24, 2007 at 12:50 am
I will put Colin Powell up against Bam any day. Now blonde “peroxide” bomber, you better watch your manners. I’m not Imus sweetie. And your friend theGreatThinker doesn’t scare me.
April 24, 2007 at 12:53 am
gop, I would leave the Thinker out of it. Don’t make him shut this blog down. In all seriousness, I think General Powell would make a great pres. He should have been elected instead of president bush.
April 24, 2007 at 1:40 pm
I’m not a total fan of Al or Jesse, but they do have their place. In some small way, these two men do give a little back to the community, unlike the Condi’s, Powell’s, and Ford’s. The latter need to be horse whipped as an example of how not to act.
April 24, 2007 at 10:43 pm
Cynthia, that is cruel and unusual punishment for Ford. What you need to do is hog-tie him to the horse and whip the hell out of him making it, cruel, nasty and justified punishment. What people don’t understand is Al and Jesse followed the Adam Clayton Powell doctrine. Join them and play their game to survive. Malcolm X, Stokley Carmichael, Rap Brown and all the militant guys who presented a physical threat was marginized and made irrelevant, but Jesse, John Lewis, Julian Bond, Andrew Young and that crowd became survivors and Al followed in their footsteps. We need people from everywhere to do their part and Jesse and Al will speak up.
