Obama and Hillary In SC.. In the beauty parlors that are the social hubs for black women in the Carolinas, loyalties are being tested as voters here contemplate the first 2008 Democratic primary in the South. The beauty salons and barber shops have is the place most Blacks discuss politics. What’s going on in your neck of the woods. SC voters will go to the polls early in 2008 and the Black Vote will be pivotal to both candidates. Chide In.

I received my newsletter and I have witness all these people flooded the beauty salon. My stylist is a staunch Hillary supporter, but my daughter’s is in Obama’s corner. I’m noticing the older women are for Hillary, while the younger ones go with Obama. I’m voting for John Edwards

I hope we don’t depend on all those busy bodies in the beauty salons electing our next pres.
All they do is gossip and scheme to steal some other woman’s man. If they get a chance to get their hair done or vote, they will chose the weave every time.

I will be voting for the first time and I’m excited for Hillary Clinton. I don’t know very much about Mr. Obama,but in the near future I will learn all I can about the senator.
I am sure who ever wins between these two will go on to become the next president. I wish them both well.

All ths yapping about beauty shops.
Black women spend way to much money in them, but it is a way to connect with black women.
Maybe HRC should send pimping Bill in to rap to the sisters. The repubs could learn a little something from them.

The Democrats are a bunch of trolls. The CBC is clueless, nobody could possibly be that much of a moron even if they tried really hard. I said it before, the best thing to happen to the CBC is for God to strike one of their meeting and leave them all disabled 80% so they would need to be replace. This Immi-Open-The-Gate bill will allow illegals to tap into a pool of money for poor impoverish american, and who are the poor folks in america?
I like Mexicans, and have no problems with a sensible Immigration bill, these same women better ask Hillary and Obama what they plan to do about Immigration.

Why don’t you guys, theGreatThinker, Badboy and the whole crowd go on and endorse one of these folks. Political Black should take the lead and I join other members who have felt that we should be part of the solutions facing us and a good place is with elected officials. I know yall keep your members hanging on for maximum benefit and why aren’t there more ads from the candidates on the Black Websites, I’m talking Black owned?
I heard a lot of crazy comments in my barber shop about how Black men will be in vogue after Obama wins…huh?

I am excited to see that obama have a woman running his sc staff. also, I’m looking forward to a visit to my beauty salon because we have a lot of undecided voters in there. I agree that Political Black should endorse a candidate.
Let me make this crystal clear. obama is my candidate and I will be making another donation to his campagin.
When I receive my newsletter, I still get a lot of local links to republicans, but I will never vote for them..
